On December 2, 2024 SOLID Christian Church took a major step in pursuing the fulfillment of its mission statement to “worship and glorify God by living a faithful and obedient life to Him,” and to bring glory to his Name in our community. Throughout the last couple of months, Dr. Brody Bliss, Sr. Minister of SOLID Christian Church, has worked diligently with the Administrative Leaders of our local EMS services, TECHS, to bring about a productive and important partnership to our community. Through their combined efforts, a ministry partnership was developed to bring pastoral care, support, and counseling to our local EMS employees, and the individuals they serve within our community. This ministry involves the creation of a chaplain position that can meet the spiritual, and emotional needs of the brave men and women who serve our communities in crisis situations, traumatic events, and life-threatening circumstances.
In a formal statement by Dr. Bliss, he commented that “I am truly blessed to be able to serve those individuals who bear the burdens of dedicated service to our community. The essential services that are provided by our EMS are crucial to the wellbeing of our communities. However, the continued stresses that these heroes bear daily, and the negative impact it can have on their family units is something which I could not overlook. I felt it was time that SOLID rallied around these men and women and started serving those who serve us so faithfully.”
SOLID Christian Church continues to be blessed with the opportunities that can help strengthen our communities and reveal the true nature and purpose of the Christian church. We are honored to go out into our community and bring the love of Jesus Christ to all people.
Satellite Partnership Launched with FCC!!!
To strengthen the universal church and unite the body of believers together as the Bride of Christ, SOLID Christian Church and First Christian Church of Buffalo, Oklahoma have partnered together and launched their official satellite ministry today! This partnership will help both churches fulfill their unique local missions, while at the same time, they will be working together to fulfill the ultimate commandments of Jesus Christ “to go into the world and make disciples of all nations” (Matt. 28:18-20).
SOLID Christian Church pledged to provide the ministerial and pastoral services that FCC needs to take its next step forward. Every week, SOLID live streams its sermons down to Buffalo to help strengthen God’s children with his holy Word. Dr. Bliss also travels down to Buffalo periodically to provide full ministerial services to the church family there.
This joint venture is a huge step of Christian maturity for both churches. It is a visible example that the Christian Church must not be isolated, but rather diligent and active to spread the good news of Jesus Christ to all people. Instead of being divided as so many churches are today, this Christian alliance is a testament to the unification and mutual desire to glorify and worship God Almighty.
