Dr. Brody Bliss
Senior Minister
Dr. Brody Bliss is a graduate from Manhattan Christian College with a B.S. in Bible/Pastoral Ministry. He received a Master of Divinity from Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary in 2008, an MA in History (with an emphasis in church history) from Emporia State University in 2019, and finally his Doctor of Ministry from Andersonville Theological Seminary, in 2022. During his ministry career, he has served in the chaplain core for a US. Army aviation battalion, a senior minister for three different churches, an instructor and program director at Manhattan Christian College, and a chaplain for hospice. His most recent ministry was planting SOLID Christian Church in Holton, Kansas, in January of 2020.
Dr. Bliss has a tremendous love to teaching God’s Word, and helping individuals find a more meaningful relationship with Christ. He also enjoys fishing, football and food. Today, he currently resides in Holton, Kansas, with his beautiful wife Julie, and their 4 children.

SOLID believes that equipping, training, and producing Christian ministers from within is a vital part of Kingdom work. As the Apostle Paul trained both Titus and Timothy to be church pastors, so we believe that we need to do our part in preparing the next generation of Christian leaders.

Remington Bliss
Intern at SOLID Christian CHurch
Remington Bliss has been hired as an intern to help provide educational and spiritual support to the church’s ministries. In this role, he provides biblical teaching and spiritual guidance that encourages Christian maturity throughout our children’s ministry and the church body as a whole. Remington has a mature Christian walk and an intense passion for Christian ministry: “Over the past year, I’ve learned how important it is to have a strong foundation in your faith. I’ve seen what the world offers and how necessary it is to remain grounded in Christ. 1 Timothy 4:12 has been a huge inspiration to me, reminding me not to let my youth become a barrier, but instead to proclaim Jesus boldly regardless of my age. I hope to bring knowledge, encouragement, and to be a positive role model for the kids I will be teaching.”
Brandon Winters
Ordained Minister
Brandon Winters has worked with Dr. Bliss for nearly 10 years, serving with him in various ministerial roles. When SOLID was launched, Brandon was the first minister that the church ordained for ministry. Currently, Brandon has served as the Senior Minister at the First Christian Church in Water Valley, Mississippi, and now ministers at Burlington Christian Church, in Burlington, Kansas.
